The terms under which Silicon Valley Travel provides trip-planning services.
Effective date: January 1, 2026. Silicon Valley Travel is a personal travel-planning practice operated by Gretchen Ode, a Signature Travel Network expert affiliated with Vincent Vacations (host agency).
Nature of services
Silicon Valley Travel acts as an independent contractor of Vincent Vacations, a licensed travel host agency. All trip components (flights, hotels, cruises, transfers, activities) are supplied by third-party operators. We book on your behalf and coordinate your itinerary; the operating carriers, hotels, and tour companies are responsible for delivering the actual travel services.
Planning fees
Standard trip planning is complimentary. Suppliers pay a commission when we book on your behalf, and this commission is the same whether you book direct or through us. Complex custom itineraries (multi-country, multi-generational, or heavily bespoke) may incur a nominal planning fee, which will be disclosed and agreed in writing before work begins.
Payments and cancellations
Payments for trip components are made directly to the supplier (airline, cruise line, resort) or through Vincent Vacations as required by that supplier. Cancellation, refund, and change policies are governed by each supplier and are disclosed at time of booking. Travel insurance is strongly recommended and available through third-party providers we can refer you to.
Limitation of liability
Silicon Valley Travel is not liable for acts, omissions, delays, or failures of third-party suppliers, force majeure events, changes in travel restrictions, or issues arising from information provided by you that is inaccurate or incomplete. Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount of planning fees paid to Silicon Valley Travel for the trip in question.
